5 Things I Wish Everyone Knew Before Their First Photoshoot
So many people arrive at their first session carrying unnecessary pressure. If I could share just a few things beforehand, it would be these — not to prepare you to perform, but to help you enjoy the experience fully.
1. Nervousness Is Completely Normal
Feeling unsure at the beginning doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong. It usually fades within minutes — especially when you’re gently guided and given space to settle in.
2. You Don’t Need to Know What to Do
You’re not expected to pose, act, or perform. That’s not your job. My role is to guide you — yours is simply to show up.
3. The Best Photos Often Surprise You
The images clients love most are rarely the ones they imagined beforehand. When you let go of expectations, something more honest takes its place.
4. Real Connection Always Wins
Perfect posture means nothing without presence. When you focus on connection — with yourself or with the person you’re with — the photos naturally come alive.
5. This Is More Than Just Photos
A photoshoot is a pause in time. It’s a chance to be seen, to feel present, and to create something lasting. The images are the keepsake — the experience is the gift.
If this feels like the kind of experience you’ve been waiting for, I’d be honored to guide you through it.
